Dr. Asma Mehan recently had the opportunity to present her latest research at the International Conference on ‘Analyzing Protest in the Digital Age: Challenges and Opportunities in Combining Text and Video Sources’. This conference, organized by the WZB Berlin Social Science Center @leibnizgemeinschaft in Berlin, Germany, took place on December 7–8, 2023.

In her paper titled “Art Activism and the Contestation of Public Space”, Dr. Mehan dives into the fascinating dynamics of digital activism and its profound influence on shaping public spaces.
