On 16 January 2024, Dr. Mehan participated in Cogitatio Press’ science communication project, delivering a talk on the role of digital feminist placemaking in the context of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement.
The project included an invited interview titled “Digital Feminist Placemaking: The Case of the ‘Woman, Life, Freedom’ Movement” for the series Let’s Talk About Urban Planning. The interview, hosted on Cogitatio Press’ YouTube channel, expanded the conversation to a global audience.
