Dr Asma Mehan is pleased to announce that she has been awarded the 2024 Global Exchange Research Faculty Exchange Seed Grant, sponsored by the Office of Provost-International Affairs, Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas, USA. This distinction is a significant milestone in her academic career, underscoring a commitment to advancing global exchange and contributing to an enhanced understanding of international issues.

This grant spanning from January 2024 to December 2024, will be focused on project: “Comparative Studies in Urban Political History: Bridging Mexico and the Middle East.”

She extend my gratitude to Alex Reza Shams, her project partner, for his indispensable support and collaboration throughout the research process. His contributions have been fundamental to the project’s success.
