Logman Arja, Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University will join ARCH 5384_CDD course on March 20, 2024 for a lecture on Agrarianism!

Join us on February 26, 2024 for the sixth event of our 2023-2024 lecture series titled, “Publicness.” Next week’s lecture, titled “CODES AND CONDUCTS: RETHINKING THE ARCHITECTURE OF INTERACTION,” will be led by IMAN ANSARI, Ph.D.

Ansari’s lecture and Q&A will be held in the Gallery on the ground floor of the Huckabee College of Architecture at 3:00 PM CST. The event will also be streamed live via Zoom.

Our upcoming lecture, "GROUND UP," will be presented by Alexandra Jaeschke at 3:30 PM CT in The Gallery, located on the ground floor of the Huckabee College of Architecture.
About the Speaker
Aleksandra Jaeschke is an Associate Professor of Architecture at The University of Texas at Austin. She holds a Doctor of Design from Harvard GSD, an AA Diploma from the Architectural Association in London, and a professional license in Italy.
As a co-founder of AlON, her architectural work earned her the 2011 Europe 40 Under 40 Award, conferred by the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies and the Chicago Athenaeum. She is also the recipient of the 2019 Harvard GSD Wheelwright Prize and the 2021 Mark Cousins Theory Award from DigitalFUTURES.
In 2021, Jaeschke curated the Plant Potential event series on human-plant relations. Her book, The Greening of America's Building Codes: Promises and Paradoxes, based on her doctoral dissertation, was published in December 2022.
