Dr. Asma Mehan recently had the opportunity to present her paper, “Cityscapes of the Cold War Within the Dynamics of the Global East, North, and South,” at the Aleksanteri Conference 2023, held at the @universityofhelsinki

Dr. Mehan’s presentation was part of the PANEL 1A–9: ‘(Post-) imperial Urban Landscapes: Memory and Transformation in Cities of the Global South and Global East.’ It was a remarkable experience exploring the complex interplay of ideologies in the Middle Eastern urban landscapes.

Dr. Mehan Presented and discussed her research with fellow academics and enthusiasts in the field of urban studies, political science, global history, and international relations was incredibly fulfilling.
