CONFERENCE: SAHANZ PhD Colloquium- Society of Architectural Historians

Join us for the SAHANZ PhD Colloquium 2023 on November 2, 2023, a collaboration of the Society of Architectural Historians Australia & New Zealand and Curtin University!

Two parallel sessions will commence at 9 a.m. AWST (12 noon AEST). Gratitude to Parisa Izadpanahi and Tanja Glusac for chairing the event.

As part of this event, Dr Asma Mehan will review two PhD projects:
* Neo-liberal Planning in Practice: Use Value or Exchange Value? A Post-Marxian Examination of Auckland’s Housing Affordability Issue by PhD Candidate Maqsood Rezayee from The University of Auckland.

* Industrial Vacancy, Historical Values, and City: Developing Case-based Architectural Interventions Strategies for the vacant Dennys Lascelles Wool store in Geelong by PhD Candidate Donya Masoomikhameneh from Deakin University.
